Prof. Dr. Şafak OĞUZ

Prof. Dr. Şafak OĞUZ is the Acting Dean of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences at Cappadocia University. After serving in the Turkish Armed Forces (TSK) for 23 years, he retired in 2021. During his tenure in the TSK, he worked with the United Nations Observer Mission in Georgia (UNOMIG) and at NATO’s Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe (SHAPE) in Belgium.
Prof. Dr. Şafak OĞUZ conducts research on Weapons of Mass Destruction, Terrorism, International Security, International Organizations, and Peace and Conflict Studies. He is proficient in English and German.
